Jasmine is a recent graduate from Sewanee, a small liberal arts college, who majored in studio art and minored in political science. A true science fiction nerd, she loves Frank Herbert's Dune and Liu Cixin's The Three-Body Problem but cites N.K. Jemisin and her Broken Earth series as her all-time favorite. With the help of fellowships, Jasmine has researched water pollution treatment methods in China, studied abroad in Himachal Pradesh, India, and lived in Kathmandu, Nepal. Outside of touring the world, she enjoys the outdoors and cautiously skateboarding, much to her brother's embarrassment. Although she's traveled quite a bit, Jasmine recognizes her roots in Memphis, TN, and firmly believes that "y'all" is the greatest Southern pronoun.
